September!

This month was filled with school, work, and play.  We are in the full swing of classes now with me also doing a lot of subbing.  Danny's job is still with HP, but since April he has been riding his bike up to Palo Alto instead of only to Cupertino, which has added another 45 minutes or so to his "commute" each way.  I've had many work opportunities at the Opera, and various ethnic and unique shows.  One of my favorites was the play "Screwtape Letters".  Danny and I went to watch it before I worked it.  We also did something of a "double date" with Brooke and Adam to see "Batman Live" one night!  Silly but action packed, with lots of great theatrical effects.

Brooke has been extra busy with the responsibilities involved in being the color guard captain for the Valley Christian marching band and color guard.  They put in many, many hours of practice to get ready for their first show of the year during 1/2 time of the Homecoming game.

When we got home, we watched the Washington State game that had been televised from Seattle.  We caught about 2 seconds of Canyon!  Besides marching band and dorm RA, his highlights this month were getting to go to a speech given by the anchorman Dan Rather, and getting his hair BUZZED!
