Labor Day weekend saw Brooke trying to learn to surf again down in Oxnard. Unfortunately the waves were unusually high which made it hard to learn. Brooke had fun trying anyway, and we had a good time hanging out on the beach, and watching Pete's baseball games. September also saw a new year of baton, band, color guard, ushering, subbing and art lessons, and Brooke and I really enjoyed watching the musical Shrek.
