Brooke has been busy this Fall with her own activities! Along with getting to preform at a 1/2 time show with her school flags team, and doing a couple of harp recitals, the baton club marched in a Christmas parade and preformed at a community Christmas event where she twirled a lit baton. I never got around to posting the wonderful trip we (Grandma, Kathryn, and Brooke) took to MN for the national baton twirling championships! Brooke took a 5th place in Solo baton, landing her on the platform for the first time! Her team tied with 2 other teams for 1st, but the judges decisions put them into 3rd. While in MN, we saw the Amish Country, including a Laura Ingllas Wilder museum, Lake Superior, where we took a boat tour out of beautiful Deluth, and of course, the Mall of America! :-)
