Seattle

Well we got off to a late start today. As the car was being taken care of today, we decided to make a full day of it here in Seattle. We started out by riding the Mono-rail and the free bus to the Mariners baseball field where we took the "behind the scenes" tour. After lunch in a little underground bistro, we went on the Underground tour. After a quick walk around Pikes Market, we walked back to the Space Needle where we took in a day time view of the sights from the top. Still to overcast to see Mt. Rainier however. We had dinner over by the locks at a teriaki place called "Yak" where Danny and Canyon ordered "teriaki salmon"! By the time we actually found the locks however, it was after 9:00, and the walkways were closed. Before dinner we had come back to the hotel to check on our car. Window fixed! A 2nd night has been comped. to us. This means a change of plans, and we don't know where we will end up going from here. Stay tuned!
